October 7, 10AM to 6PM Yale Street Arts Market Returns to Daytime Hours

Yale Street Arts Market returns to daytime hours Saturday October 7, from 10 AM to 6 PM. The market had a successful run this past summer with only evening hours to beat Houston's heat. Peaking in August as a participant in the first annual White Linen Night in the Heights with estimated neighborhood wide crowds of up to 13,000 visitors.

Yale Street Arts Market is Houston's only monthly arts market featuring original fine art by local artists such as Alissa Fereday of Pasadena. Fereday creates mixed media, abstract, and impressionistic paintings on canvas. Strolling through this white canopied outdoor market visitors will also find metal sculpture, glass art, sterling silver jewelry, crochet blouses and even olive oil tasting! All the artists and vendors are listed on the market's web site; www.yalestreetmarket.com.
