Sorange Castillo

A native of Venezuela, Sorange Castillo sees art as a key facet of her life. Whether providing art therapy to children, painting to heal herself, creating gallery pieces for public exhibition and purchase, or expressing herself for the pure joy of painting, Sorange totally immerses herself in her art -- be it acrylics, oils, pastels or charcoals.

Embracing

Influenced by artists as diverse as Klimt, Picasso, Dali and Frida Kahlo, Sorange utilizes a pallette ranging from brilliant primary colors to earth tones. Her subjects range from figurative pieces to landscapes to expressionist works.

Sorange is a member of the Post-Diversionists with Aimi Dunn, Suzanne Delorme, Susan Goettsche, Martin de Vore, Mitch Cohen, Michael-Ann Belin (on sabbatical) and Lacey Crawford.
