Dan Zinno

Dan Zinno was born in Ohio in 1976 and grew up in New England, he now works out of his home studio in Georgetown, TX. His work has been described as “ugly” and “brutal” but this does not dissuade the artist. Zinno’s work is fueled as he pushes the viewers’ comfort zone to a place where they are forced to view the image free from personal and social preconceptions.

Zinno’s work has been shown in Boston, Colorado, and several venues in the Los Angeles area including the Sam Francis Gallery in Santa Monica, CA where he showed two new pieces in an exhibition that closed in March. The artist has just completed participation in an art auction at the LA Art Exchange in Santa Monica, and is currently preparing for a solo exhibition in Indiana scheduled for November. Zinno’s work has been well received and collected by art professionals and laymen alike from all parts of the country.
