As an artist, I seem to be in a constant struggle with the translation of my imagination to canvas or paper. I think the importance of creating art and job of the artist is to "gift" the observer with a new perspective of anything, whether it be a tangible or an emotional connection between the piece and the patron. So, art for me is a challenge and one I accept and one my interior being recognizes as an outlet for self expression. Mitch asked me if I wanted to write something and I says to the man "Sure, I'll write a little ditty pertaining to me,myself,and I" Hope you like the picture Mitch pulled out of his Yoo-Hoo!--HA HA! If you can guess how old I am, I'll give you some Hallowen Candy from the same year! :) oooooooooo,scary! I feel like I'm writing a bio for a theatre program, which is appropiate since the first half of my adult life was spent in theatre. I was a Stage Manager in 4 states for 5 theatres. And then along came Mitch! I really love art and I get a fix for my theatre career of old, in the spring, by stage managing at Miller Outdoor. This coming spring it'll be The King and I, so come on out and enjoy your favorite adult bev while splayed out on the hill. ANYHOW! What I'm saying is - Ain't Life Grand! I'm excrutiatingly optimistic these days. And since I can see the horizon again and my artistic dry spell is a hop,skip, and a jump away from the well-spring of creativity, this will be your only warning...New Art is Taking Shape as You Read This!! BAH HAH HA!! Ah the Luxury!! More soon.......right now I am full of Lentil Soup!! I made it last night. Speaking of, cooking is also a favorite hobby.
