An exhibition of Indian and abstract art by the artist Bhavana

An Indian artist now based in Houston, Bhavana works predominantly in abstract and Indian folk art. Her work involves a variety of medium; such as ceramic, acrylic, water, oil and pastel color; and different material such as paper, canvas and silk cloth.

Her career as an artist began while pursuing a degree in art. Bhavana holds a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Fine arts with a concentration in drawing and painting. In addition, she received a four-year National Diploma in Fine arts. Bhavana’s paintings have appeared in various group art shows and publications across India. She has also participated in several art camps sponsored by business corporations specializing in the field of art.

In the exhibition “The Mosaic”, Bhavana will showcase a Mosaic of different types of art, theme and medium.
