Annie Peng

Please let me introduce myself. My name is Annie Peng. My friends call me Annie.

I am a natural born artist and am a very good natured and multi-talented woman.

Whenever I can speak I can sing. Whenever I can walk I can dance. Whenever I can hold a pen I can draw.

"Love" is my inspiration of art creation. In fact, I would love for you to share a personal love story with me.

At 14, I came with my family from Taiwan to Houston.

At 19, I won the title of Miss Chinatown and graduated from University of Texas at Austin in Graphic design with a BFA degree.

As an all around artist,I sing, dance, model and am a musician and published poet.

I started as a 9 to 5 working girl to an independent artist and it wasn't easy.

It took me more than 15 years of hard work and sacrifice to accomplish my goals, I was also very lucky on the road and have received a lot of help.

In 2000, I created a new "abstract landscape" oil painting on canvas style and as long as they match the decor, they can be displayed anywhere, including a living room, dinning room, game room, family room, study room, bedroom, hall way, and even bathroom or office.

I've host my one woman art show every year on Valentine's Day since 2003.

In 2007, I invented a new style called "abstract personal love story' oil painting on canvas.

I've also created a pottery water fountain series called "melody of moving water." (This is a first for America.) Small, medium and large versions start at $99 and can be viewed at Earth Gallery.

On March 27, 2003, The Houston Chronicle ran an article about my artwork and career. On November 30, 2005, Time Warner Cable Channel 17 interviewed me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qTJuK7oIA9U.

On June 27, 2007, Time Warner Cable Channel 43 (New Tang Dynasty Chinese Program) ran my fashion show interview. I have built up a quite a little reputation with my art work and have collectors from all over the world, including Taiwan, China/HK, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Canada, UK, Australia, German, Netherlands, South Africa, Tahiti and many states in the USA.

In July 2007, I relocated to California's Bay Area, and worked for a time in Sausalito. I am a contract artist of Solo gallery in Los Gatos and the Art Frame Studio, LLC. in Mountain View, California. Today I am back in Houston furthering my career.
