When: Friday Evening September 1st 7 - 10 pm Exhibit by African Art Center of Houston 8 pm featuring Kairn Klieman - Associate Professor of African History at UH Wine and Cheese Reception Where: The Parish Hall Gallery at St. Andrews in the Heights 1819 Heights Boulevard - map Cost is free! All are welcome! Join us as we focus on the art of Africa! From 7 - 10 pm enjoy an eclectic collection of traditional and contemporary art provided by the African Art Center of Houston. Wine and cheese refreshments will be served. At 8 pm, Kairn Klieman, Associate Professor of African History at UH will present a brief but informative discussion on the current humanitarian crisis in Africa and how the ONE Campaign is helping to spread awareness and motivate concerned people across the globe to action.
