Any Free Wine?

Hustle and bustle and excited tittering all over the place! What am I talking about? Saturday night at M2, of course!

A string quartet serenades the energetic pulsating crowd as I find my way to the bar... Lets see what is on tap? The gorgeous bartender tells me we have a lively white wine and a heavenly red just waiting to tickle my palette. I think I'll have the red tonight, thank you, oh MY! what's this? a puffy pastry delight injected with some form of creamy goodness?! Dare I? Why YES! I think I'll take two!

The crowd is dressed to the nines, with black being the colour du jour and thankfully I fit in perfectly. Oh look! Is that an Armani suit over there at 7 o'clock? Goodness me! Just LOOK at those pumps girl!

One or two glasses of wine later, ahhhhh...

Finally, I am primed for taking in the art that is uniquely Houston! Colour abounds! A brilliant array of figure and form, landscape and graffiti, shapes and emotions permeate my senses. I am star-struck! Such amazing talent awaits those who take the time to seek it out.

The Dolls installation hypnotizes me momentarily as I stand on the welcome mat and watch. I have become one with the Dolls Realty. There is no turning back now, Alas! My salvation has arrived in the form of a food tray! I simply MUST have one of those divine pinwheels on that snack tray!
